Yes, it does. When you are sick, very sick, the body reacts by showing several signs and symptom, such as loss of appetite, low energy, fatigue, weakness and many more. I will use the current COVID pandemic to illustrate my point.

The COVID-19 viruses and new strains are nothing more than a set of genetic library of information for making new viruses, wrapped up in a layer of fat, protein and sugar. In essence, a virus is like a human brain without a body to go along with it, and hence can’t do anything by itself. Therefore it needs a host, usually animals, such as bats, chicken, and pigs, and sometimes jumps to humans through close interaction between animals and sometimes humans. Bats were suspected in both Ebola and CONVID-19. These viruses first disarm the immune system and take over the energy generating machinery of their host (DNA, RNA, ribosomes, Golgi, endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria, etc.),as a result majority of the energy generated (ATP) in the mitochondria goes to the activity of the viruses---producing new viruses that will repeat the reproductive cycle million times over. When the new viruses are finally released from the infected cell, they go on to infect other neighboring cells though glycoprotein spikes thatbinds specific receptor sites and invade your cells. Without this process thevirus cannot reproduce itself and cause harm to humans or other animal host.

Very “intelligently” the metabolic energy production that benefits the host is suppressed, resulting in severe weakness, fatigue, low energy, suppression of appetite and many of the typical symptoms (fever, coughing, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle and body aches, headache, loss of smell and taste, skin abnormalities), including decrease replication, transcription, and translation of host essential enzymes, proteins, and immune compounds (macrophages, B-Cells, T-cells, etc.). This results in significant drop in metabolic energy and a weakened immune system that has lost the ability to defend the host. In essence, the virus behaves likea “smart and well equipped terrorist” that takes over complete control of your body, disarm the immune system, and control your energy machinery (metabolism) and use it as a source to multiply and reproduce its offspring at your expense.

It seems the main attack strategy the virus uses is to protect itself by disarming your immune system, as well as controlling your metabolic process (energy machinery). Hence, it seems logical that boosting our metabolic energy production and strengthening your immune system to become resistant to the virus could be a powerful weapon against COVID-19 invasion, as well as other viruses, bacteria, fungi including parasites and other metabolic conditions (diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, cancer and obesity).

Therefore, our strategy is to “Stimulate the Immune and Metabolic (Energy) Systems, while suppressing the inflammation”---this I believe is the key to health, energy, vitality and longevity. To understand this process, scientists studied bats to find the reason why they carry several deadly pathogens, including Ebola, Marburg, SERS, MERS, coronavirus and many others without been affected. These viruses carry deadly diseases, yet bats are not affected. The reason why bats can host such virulent viruses without getting sick or killed is because they have evolved several survival strategies through millions of years of bats and virus interaction. They survived due to various adaptive mechanisms: their high metabolic (energy), robust immune system and an efficient anti-inflammatory system.

When bats fly, they produce deadly metabolic waste products and reactive oxygen species that can damage and break off fragments of DNA. In human and other mammals, these lose DNA fragments will be regarded as a foreign body that triggers a robust immune response and induction of inflammatory hormones that will cause damage to major tissues and organs including DNA. But this does not happen in bats, and this is because bats have probably evolved an efficient repair gene mechanism to counteract the frequent damage to their DNA during flight and invasion by viruses. Scientists speculate that these repair genes may be responsible for the longevity of bats.

Mammalian and human chromosome ends with DNA sequences called telomere, which shortens over time and contribute to cellular aging. In contrast, bats telomere shortens much more slowly and this may help to explain their longevity, as well as their ability to survive viral invasion.

Similarly, scientists are speculating that those COVID infected individuals who are asymptomatic carriers or patients with mild infection, including those who are exposed but don’t get sick may possess a healthy gene (DNA) and telomere with low levels of oxidative debris or might even have inherited a gene mutations that is protective. As a result when invaded by a virus and other foreign agents (bacteria, parasites, and cancer), their genes produce anti-inflammatory hormones that are protective. By contrast people who are susceptible and end up with severe respiratory collapse, and even death may possess a damaged DNA and shortened telomere as a result of overwhelming reactive oxidative waste products. Under these conditions, their gene sproduce damaging inflammatory hormones instead of anti-inflammatory hormone that are protective.

As such, your health, vitality, energy, aging and longevity depend largely on our immune and metabolic (energy) systems which in turn depends on our gene (DNA)—and it too is modulated either positively or negatively by diet (highly refined and processed inflammatory foods and products, such as sugars, starches, high fructose corn syrup, salts), and lifestyle behavior (stress, inactivity, sleep deprivation, etc.)---which may result in the production of pro-inflammatory hormones and proteins that are lethal to your genes (DNA).

From this observation and understanding how bats survive viral invasion and prevent a cytokine storm(over-reactive immune system), it makes sense to assume that people infected with COVID-19 who developed severe symptoms (severe respiratory collapse, and blood clot disorders, organ failures) may probably have a defective andineffective anti-inflammatory hormone system that is not protective. As a result they lack adequate protection against oxidative free radicals and inflammation that subsequently damage their DNA(genes), telomere, and proteins---rendering them ineffective, particularly in the aging population, and even the younger people with underlying inflammatory metabolic syndrome conditions (obesity, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, chronic stress, physicalinactivity, poor diet, and so on). Perhaps this might help to explain therational why people with underlying inflammatory diseases (both old and young)are more affected by COVID infection and the seasonal flu (influenza A or B)with poorer outcome.

For instance, in the US majority of COVID-19 victims that are most vulnerable to serious illness and deaths are Black Americans, Hispanics and American Indians—a population that is most exposed to environmental hazards (toxins, pollutions, chronic stress) and also with the highest incidence of obesity that leads to diabetes, hypertension, stroke, and heart disease— conditions that increase inflammation and blood clots in endothelial cells (small blood vessels). Hence, it is not a coincidence that these populations are more vulnerable due to their underlying health issues (the culprit is undoubtedly the over whelming free radicals and inflammation), which have negative effect on replication, translation and expression of genes ---thus in turn produces an immune system that is not adequately protective (as such not producing anti-inflammatory cytokines and effective neutralizing IgG, IgM, and T-cells).

For the first time in our human history, COVID pandemic has revealed to us in a large scale the direct influence our genes (DNA) has on our metabolic (energy) and immune systems. For instance people with a health

y gene maintained a robust energy and immune system that is protective as well as dampened inflammation. In contrast, those with a defective gene displays a weak energy and imune system that trigger inflammation and also not adequately protective.

Therefore, our strategy for optimal health, energy and vitality, and fighting off foreign and internal invaders(viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites, cancer, heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, etc.) is to stimulate the immune system and metabolic (energy)systems, while suppressing inflammation.

The Dr. Johnson’s Nature Blend –Antioxidant Energy Boosters and other designer Super-products arepowerful Natural Plant and Essential Fatty Acids based antioxidants andanti-inflammatory Modulator Cocktail (loaded with amino acids, trace minerals, folate, vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin D3, tocopherols, tocotrienols, flavonoids, anthocyanins, polyphenols, omega-3, omega-6and omega-9, fiber, etc.)--- designed to stimulate metabolic (energy)production naturally, boost the

immune system while blocking proinflammatoryhormones and proteins. The immune modulator cocktails were first tested in2014-2015 during the Ebola epidemic in Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone, andthe results were remarkable (See testimonies below). Recently, the immunemodulator cocktails have shown remarkable results in people with advanceddiabetes, hypertension, arthritis, heart disease, stroke, obese, and COVIDpatients.

The immunemodulator cocktails are recommended for people at higher risk of oxidativestress, DNA damage and inflammation (metabolic syndrome), and “sick people” ingeneral, including those with poor appetite, fatigue, severe weakness and lowenergy.
